1. World Cup 2014: Brazil Defeats Chile on Penalty Kicks, 1-1

SUMMARY
It was an epic contest and Brazil had made it to the quarter-finals and the World Cup would not have to go on without its hosts. At 2-2 in the penalty shootout, with one player left on each team. Neymer, superstar, kissed the ball, shuffled his feet and put his shot in the corner. Gonzalo Jara hit the post and Brazil, finally could breathe.

PERSUASIVE
In Brazil, it was the hot topic that their national soccer team made it to the quarter-finals. Brazil has balance in offense and defense, and they has lots of superstar soccer player. So everyone expected that Brazil prevail to Chile. But the game's winner couldn't be known until it finished. Brazil eventually won as the penalty shootout. It is the one of the most interesting game in Brazil World Cup.

2. Brazil flood evacuees increase tenfold to 50,000

SUMMARY
Severe flooding caused by a week of torrential rain in southern Brazil has forced more than 50,000 people from their homes, officials said Sunday, increasing an earlier estimate almost tenfold. In Santa Catarina state, 40,000 people had been forced to leave their homes, while in Rio Grande do Sul, 10,700 people had evacuated, revising earlier estimates as the extent of the damage became clear. The southern state of Parana was hit by heavy rains this month, causing floods that killed 11 people and affected more than 700,000.

PERSUASIVE
Currently, in Brazil, it is the World Cup round of 16. Though Korean to go to cheer may come back to Korea, a lot of people still remain Brazil. In article, very many people in Brazil lost their home because of flood and it influence World Cup game. I hope that Brazil government has to handle the flood damage rapidly, and they have not to affect World Cup game.

3. Brazil vs Brazil

SUMMARY
In Brazil, during a protest here against the World Cup, demonstrators were running away from rubber bullets and tear gas when they bumped into a group celebrating Carnival. It seems Brazil doesn't have just one national team representing it during this World Cup; it has two; those who support the tournament, and those who do not.

PERSUASIVE
For me to really like soccer, World Cup is interesting, exciting, wonder and passionate. As soccer fans, I agree to support the tournament in world Cup. First, It gave a huge economic opportunity for Brazil. World invested tremendously World Cup venue nation. Example, in 2002 World Cup in Korea, they invested about 2 trillion won. Second, it is a good way to promote Brazil abroad. In World, people watch the soccer play, and go to cheer to Brazil. It is opportunity to notify to world. Brazil has to notify their culture, music, economy and so on. Many people had been interested Korea Culture since 2002 Korea World Cup. At the same, Brazil effort to notify their culture that their singer, government, civilian work together.
